These spring loaded pins allow you to install a louver into an existing panel. The pin is inserted into the hole in the stile, by depressing the pin so its flush with stile, you are able to slide the louver over the pin. When the pin finds the hole at the end of the louver, it will pop into it thus securing the louver.
